Bright & Beautiful Therapy Dogs
A visit from SZVA can spark a positive reaction like no one has ever seen before!
A visit from a Therapy Dog can offer tremendous benefits to adults and children of all ages in a wide variety of settings. These benefits include:
•Physiological improvements & Benefits - A visit provides a welcome change from routine.
•Easing communication with others - Children, the mentally ill, or depressed individuals communicate better with dogs than with people.
•Improving skills - Fostering reading abilities in children
•Physical improvements - which come from petting or playing with SZVA.
•Sharing happiness and laughter.
The objective of a pet therapy visit is to provide comfort and pleasure to someone in need.
Therapy dogs have significant health benefits and can reduce stress, anxiety and depression as well as provide a sense of connection in difficult situations. To many of the people, dogs bring back pleasant and warm memories of family pets from days gone by.
Sometimes a patient with depression who hasn’t spoken for a while will have a conversation with a dog. Difficult patients sometimes become more compliant when a furry face shows them affection and convinces them to follow doctor’s orders.
There are ALWAYS requests for Therapy Dogs at local facilities and
there is ALWAYS a need for more Teams to go in and visit.

Training times and costs on this will be dependent on an assessment of the animal's current training level.
